October 12-14, Nice – France
(check in starting on Oct. 11, 2020)
The scientific and international NICE-Conferences are organized with the objective to share new developments in the growing field of bioinspired chemistry & materials (since 2012) as well as in Optics Photonics & Materials (since 2016) and to understand new challenges that are being faced in these fields of research.
The NICE conference encompasses chemistry, biology and physics and gives a multi-disciplinary overview of biomimetic approaches to engineering new materials and systems.
Amongst the topics discussed at the conference : green chemistry, nanomaterials, renewable energy, stimuli-responsive materials, adhesive/anti-adhesive materials, functional polymers, biobased chemistry, materials but also in nonlinear optics and complex dynamics, in biophotonics & biosensors, In optical metrology, imaging and sensing, as well as soft matter materials. These topics are organized into three main sessions: SmartTech, NanoTech and BioTech as well as several symposia.
The conference takes place every two years in Nice located in the French Riviera (France) and brings together researchers, managers, manufacturers and decision-makers with different backgrounds. The conference promotes, the exchange of ideas, open discussion of current research problems and the development of new ideas and collaborations aimed at finding eco-friendly, green, sustainable solutions to materials challenges that will have a lasting impact for generations.
